I keep forgetting: I’m the CA on call this week. This means I will have to leave the building (in about 30 minutes) to go pick up the pager from the office.

Today, I
-got up really early with the intent to curl my hair. -promptly fell back asleep for another hour. -woke and dressed quickly for class, forgetting about my hair. -went to my 9:30 class and prayed to the weather gods to hold off on the ice. -cursed the weather gods when I walked outside to discover freezing rain. -rushed to get lunch before meeting Sally to help with Student for a Day prep....

After a long day of meetings, frustration, and laundry, followed by an evening of friendship and food, I am incredibly tired and can’t wait to fall asleep. I haven’t had a dream in days and I’m hoping for something pleasant tonight.

I think I would be very content to have just a simple one-room apartment. I’m quite in love with my little dorm room as it is, so simply expanding the space to include a bigger refrigerator, oven, couch, table, and TV would suit me quite well. Other Thoughts
1.) I am not getting the job at the library this semester. This is super disappointing, but I’ll just have to make the best of the Call Center. Maybe I’ll have better calling pools and get more money from alumni. Maybe someone will throw a thousand dollars my way. It’s whatever; I’m employed, and I need to be thankful for this fact.
