It’s really wonderful to have someone give me constructive feedback about my poetry so that I can continue to improve my writing. I love that this lady took the time to analyze what worked well, what could use improvement, and where I could push myself further. It’s nice to know that someone really carefully read what I wrote, and isn’t just there to blow smoke and tout me as the greatest writer since Dylan Thomas or Oscar Wilde.
Not that anyone has ever told me that I’m the next Thomas or Wilde, and I certainly don’t think these pompous things about myself; but you get my point.
