So I’m currently at the library printing out all the articles I need to read for my sexual ethics class on Monday, and since one of the printers is broken I had to send my papers to the other printer way at the other end of the library. As I walked up I saw this woman looking through papers to pick out whatever she printed, and I asked her if she could set aside the two articles I had printed. The titles of the articles are “So You Wanna Get a Sex Change?” and “Why some women want to become men (and vice versa).” Needless to say she gave me a pretty weird look as she passed them off. For a split second I thought about clarifying and telling her that I needed them for a class, but then I stopped. I really don’t care what she thinks. Let her assume I’m seeking a sex change. Hell, let the entire computer lab assume I’m seeking a sex change. I don’t think it’s a big deal, and I like finding entertainment in the assumptions of strangers.
